What made you decide you wanted to be a dentist? I have always looked up to my dentist for always being genuinely nice. As I entered college, I had the opportunity to job shadow a general dentist. He had me sit with an elderly lady and help her to make sure she could dentures in and out. As she saw herself with the new dentures and was able to take them in and out, I will never forget the smile she gave and how happy she was! I was able to do various missions trips and to see the smile and gratitude that people had after they received dental care from dentists, who for some never received dental care before, was so rewarding!
Hobbies: Mountain biking, hiking, eating, Spikeball, games.
Favorite place to eat in SLC: Does Leatherby's ice cream count?!
Where can you find me outside of school? With friends on a hike, playing games, or eating! Maybe even a Tinder or Bumble date if I'm lucky! ;)
Interesting fact about me: I was a "gold digger" before dental school. I worked in a gold mine as a safety specialist, testing for arsenic!
What do you see yourself doing in five years? It could go many ways at this point, depending on if I get a military scholarship. Either way, I'll be making people smile!
Favorite dental procedure: I wish I could say, but any opportunity I get to be in the sim clinic to practice is pretty awesome!
What Pandora station do you have on while drilling and filling in sim lab? I listen to whatever is playing. I listen to almost all genres of music from jazz to hip-hop.
